Do It Yourself Tip of The Day

Do you have a door that bangs loudly whenever you shut it? Did you know it's usually an easy fix and you can quiet that door in less than 30 seconds. Try this. . .
Apply two or three 1/4 inch dabs if clear silicone caulk to the edges of the door stops. They will create somewhat of a cushion and clear silicone is pretty much invisible when it dries. Oh, make sure the silicone dries before you close the door.

I actually have this problem with my screen door, this is a great tip. The weather isn't great for it at the moment because of how cold and wet it is, but it's definitely on my to-do list.
